Minimal Embroidery DIY Kit
Embroidery has always been a passion of mine, and since all of the national lockdowns over the past 18 months, it has really helped with my mental well-being, and even helped me to teach my son different stitches.
There are 8 designs to choose from and there is no right or wrong way to stitch, you can follow the easy lines I've drawn on, and use the colours I've provided or mix it up with your own.
Thread colours will be as close to images as I can, but as I'm prepping these kits with materials from my own stash, colours may vary.
You will receive a piece of unbleached unwashed Calico fabric, with the design readily drawn on it with outline circle lines to help you place it inside the hoop.
Thread as per images, wrapped on a piece of recycled card
An embroidery needle
A 5" laser cut two piece hoop that slots together as shown
The drawn design can be erased with water when you've finished stitching.
As these designs are small, you don't need an embroidery hoop to stretch the fabric, and it'll stretch nicely into the hoop I've made (see photos) when you've finished. There's a small hole at the top of the outer hoop so that you can hang it up.
Head over to my Instagram to check out how I've stitched mine and how to finish your hoop!
